Abstract:
We present a near-infrared (JHKs) photometric catalog, including
14811185 point sources for a 40deg2 area of the Large Magellanic
Cloud, 2769682 sources for an 11deg2 area of the Small Magellanic
Cloud, and 434145 sources for a 4deg2 area of the Magellanic Bridge.
The 10sigma limiting magnitudes are 18.8, 17.8, and 16.6mag at J, H,
and Ks, respectively. The photometric and astrometric accuracies for
bright sources are 0.03-0.04mag and 0.1arcsec, respectively. Based on
the catalog, we also present (1) spatial distributions, (2) luminosity
functions, (3) color-color diagrams, and (4) color-magnitude diagrams
for point sources toward the Magellanic Clouds.

Note (1): The three character of quality flag, one character per one band
[JHKs], that describes shapes of sources as follows:
1 = "point-like"
2 = "extended"
3 = "saturated"
4 = "faint"
5 = "odd-shaped"
0 = sources undetected in that band
Note (2): The three character of periphery flag, one character per one band
[JHKs], that identifies sources in the periphery area as follows:
1 = sources in the central area,
2 = sources in the periphery area,
0 = sources undetected in that band.
Note (3): The three character of adjacency flag, one character per one band
[JHKs], that provides the number of adjacent sources for each band.
Note (4): the sharpness parameter is zero for perfect stellar match;
negative values indicate a too broad fit (blend or extended object),
and positive values a too sharp fit (e.g. cosmic ray).
