We present two catalogues of ∼1000 probable variables in an area of ∼4deg2 of the inner galactic bulge. The first one contains ∼720 variable star candidates which which show variability in the J and Ks while the second consists of sources only observed to be variable in Ks (∼270 sources), mainly in regions whit high interstellar extinction. Description: File table2a contains the name of the variable star candidates and their coordinates (2000) in degrees as well as the DENIS I,J,Ks magnitudes observed in summer 1996 and the difference to the observations performed in 1998 (Delta J, Delta K). These stars are variable in J and in Ks. Table 2b is a catalog of variable stars which are variable only in Ks. The format is the same as for table2a.
