Description:
In this paper the mass of the neutron star in Vela X-1 is determined,
by measuring the radial velocity curve of its B supergiant companion.
The tables (appendix of the paper), which list the log of
observations, and the derived radial velocities, of the blue Coude
Echelle Spectrograph (CES) spectra (Table A1), the red CES spectra
(Table A2), and the IUE spectra (Table A3).
