Description:
File table3 contains a summary of selected B and R photometry data for
72 irregular dwarf galaxies within the 10 Mpc volume. It is
supplemented by the indication of their field or group membership
and by their rotational velocities as inferred from the literature.

Note (1): Corrected for galactic absorption
Note (2): Most distances are from Karachentsev et al. (1999,
Cat. J/A+AS/139/97)
Note (3): Group membership is defined as being at a distance of at last 1Mpc
from a galaxy as bright as at least -17.5mag in absolute magnitude
Note (4): Defined as Grad=1.086(1/rB-1/rR)
Note (5): Defined as the magnitude of a pure exponential disk with scale length
rB minus the actual magnitude Bmag
Note (6): Inferred from Karachentsev et al. (1999, Cat. J/A+AS/139/97) and
Bottinelli et al. (1990A&AS..82..391, Cat. VII/136)
Note (7): not in the original tables, was added at CDS from the SIMBAD database.
