Abstract:
A library of high resolution spectra of MK standard and reference
stars, observed in support to the GAIA mission, is presented. The aim
of this paper is to integrate the MK mapping of Paper I
(J/A+AS/137/521) of this series as well as to consider stars over a
wider range of metallicities. Radial velocities are measured for all
the target stars.
Description:
All the spectra presented in this atlas were obtained with the
Echelle + CCD spectrograph mounted on the Padova Observatory 182-cm
telescope operated in Asiago at Cima Ekar. The spectral range covered
was λλ8480-8750Å and the dispersion was 0.25Å/pix.

Note (1): The variability index takes the following values:
C = constant (Dm≤0.01mag
S = small amplitude (0.01mag<Dm≤0.2mag)
M = medium amplitude (0.2mag<Dm≤0.4mag)
L = large amplitude (Dm>0.4mag)
Note (2): The chromospheric activity index is based on the CaII K
core emission line intensity measured on the Wilson scale,
(1976ApJ...205..823W 1976ApJ...205..823W) or on the S photometric index defined by
Baliunas (1995ApJ...438..269B 1995ApJ...438..269B). The indices are:
L = no activity (0.0≤S<0.2)
M = medium activity (0.2≤S<0.4)
H = high activity (S≥0.4)
