Abstract:
We present the results of mapping observations with ISO of
[OI]63µm, 145µm, [NII]122µm, [CII]158µm, [SiII]35µm,
and H29.66µm line emissions for the Carina nebula, an active
star-forming region in the Galactic plane. The observations were made
for the central 40'x20' area of the nebula, including the optically
bright HII region and molecular cloud lying in front of the ionized
gas. Around the center of the observed area is the interface between
the HII region and the molecular cloud which creates a typical
photodissociation region (PDR).
Description:
table2.dat shows the line intensities obtained by ISO/LWS and SWS for
the central 40'x20' area of the Carina nebula, cantered at
(l,b)=(287.4, -0.6) with a 3" grid. It contains the intensities of
[OI]63micron, [OI]145micron, [CII]158micron, [SiII]35micron, and
H2 0-0 S(3) 9.66micron lines, as well as the total far-infrared
intensity and the radiation field strength (Go).

Note (2): 1 sigma, not including the absolute calibration uncertainty.
Note (3): At (l, b) = (287.605, -0.636), the continuum could not be fitted
with the graybody function of the power law index of unity due to the
contribution from eta Car.
