Description:
The present data is part of the Brussels nuclear reaction rate library
(BRUSLIB) for astrophysics applications and concerns nuclear reaction
rate predictions calculated within the statistical Hauser-Feshbach
approximation and making use of global and coherent microscopic
nuclear models for the quantities (nuclear masses, nuclear structure
properties, nuclear level densities, gamma-ray strength functions,
optical potentials) entering the rate calculations.
Description of files:
The library includes 4 sets of files.
1) the neutron capture rates: 102 files named ncapXX where XX represents
the symbol of the target element. Each file includes for a given
isotope of the corresponding element the reaction rates (n,g), (n,p)
and (n,a) (expressed in [mol-1 cm3 s-1]) for a grid of 30 different
temperatures T9 (expressed in 10^9K) between T9=0.01 and T9=10. The
fortran-like format is f3x,f5.2,2x,1p,3(5x,e10.3,6x)
2) the proton capture rates: 102 files named pcapXX where XX represents
the symbol of the target element. Each file includes for a given
isotope of the corresponding element the reaction rates (p,g), (p,n)
and (p,a) (expressed in [mol-1 cm3 s-1]) for a grid of 30 different
temperatures T9 (expressed in 10^9K) between T9=0.01 and T9=10. The
fortran-like format is f3x,f5.2,2x,1p,3(5x,e10.3,6x)
3) the alpha capture rates: 102 files named acapXX where XX represents
the symbol of the target element. Each file includes for a given
isotope of the corresponding element the reaction rates (a,g), (a,n)
and (a,p) (expressed in [mol-1 cm3 s-1]) for a grid of 30 different
temperatures T9 (expressed in 10^9K) between T9=0.01 and T9=10. The
fortran-like format is f3x,f5.2,2x,1p,3(5x,e10.3,6x)
4) the photodesintegration rates: 97 files named photoXX where XX
represents the symbol of the target element. Each file includes for a
given isotope of the corresponding element the reaction rates (g,n),
(g,p) and (g,a) (expressed in [s-1]) for a grid of 30 different
temperatures T9 (expressed in 10^9K) between T9=0.01 and T9=10. The
fortran-like format is f3x,f5.2,2x,1p,3(5x,e10.3,6x)
