Abstract:
Colour gradients are considered for a sample of circa 50 E-type
galaxies in the Local Supercluster. The new data includes isophotal
colour profiles in J-H, J-K, V-J and V-K, measured using 2MASS frames
mostly from the Large Galaxies Atla s, V frames from previous work and
V profiles from the literature. This is supplemented by U-B, B-V, B-R,
V-I colour gradients obtained anew from published photometric data.
The here available file gives our zero-point colours at re/2 and the
measured gradients for 54 objects, but for missing data.

Note (1): Galaxy types and subtypes, central velocity dispersion, IRAs fluxes
and the S2 index are repeated from Michard & Prugniel, 2004,
Cat. J/A+A/423/833
Note (2): U-B, B-V, B-R and V-I colours and gradients are taken and/or
remeasured from several sources, hence the derivation of errors
for each object.
Note (3): V-J, V-K, J-H, J-K colours and gradients are new measurements
deemed homogeneous: probable errors should be nearly the same
for all objects.
Errors on zero-point colours: 0.025 in V-J, V-K, 0.013 in J-H, J-K
Errors on gradients: 0.032 in dV-J, 0.035 in dV-K, 0.017 in dJ-H, dJ-K
