Abstract:
We present the catalog of X-ray afterglow observed by BeppoSAX from
the launch of the satellite to the end of the mission. Thirty-three
X-ray afterglows out of 39 observations were securely identified based
on their fading behavior. We have extracted the continuum parameters
(decay index, spectral index, flux, absorption) for all available
afterglows. We point out a possible correlation between the X-ray
afterglow luminosity and the energy emitted during the prompt
gamma-ray event.
Description:
This catalog gives the list of gamma-ray bursts observed by the
BeppoSAX narrow fields instruments. We list for convenience bursts
discovered by BeppoSAX or discovered by another mission but which
X-ray afterglow was observed by BeppoSAX (table1.dat). We also list
the properties of these bursts (table2.dat). Other informations, such
as the spectral and temporal properties of the afterglow, extended to
the XMM-Newton and Chandra results can be obtained at

N = No optical afterglow detection
0 = No optical studies
Y = Optical afterglow detection
S = Optical afterglow detection and supernova association
Note (4): For GRB 000214 a redshift range was derived : 0.37-0.47.
The median value is indicated in the table.

Note (1): Individual notes on GRB:
* GRB 991106 may not be a GRB. See Cornelisse et al. (2002A&A...392..885C 2002A&A...392..885C).
The 40-700keV fluence is a conservative 3 sigma limit based on GCN 448.
* GRB 020410 2-10keV duration and fluence are lower limits
* GRB 020427 40-700keV fluence is an upper limit
Note (2): When not available, values of 2-10keV fluences have been
calculated from the 2-26keV fluences and assuming the spectral
parameters reported in the references.
