Abstract:
XZ Ceti is the only known anomalous Cepheid in the Galactic field.
Being the nearest and brightest such variable star, a detailed study
of XZ Ceti may shed light on the behaviour of anomalous Cepheids whose
representatives have been mostly detected in external galaxies.
Description:
Photometric and radial velocity data of the anomalous Cepheid XZ Ceti
are given. The photometric data cover one week, the spectroscopic
radial velocity observations were secured during two observing runs in
2004-2005. All data were obtained with the equipments of the Siding
Spring Observatory, Australia.
