ADC_Keywords: Stars, nearby ; Stars, Be ; Photometry Keywords: stars: emission-line, Be - Galaxy: bulge - catalogs Abstract: We report the first systematic search for Be star candidates in the direction of the Galactic Bulge. We present the full catalogue, give a brief description of the stellar variability seen, and show some light curve examples. We searched for stars matching specific criteria of magnitude, color and variability in the I band. Our search was conducted on the 48 OGLE II fields of the Galactic Bulge. Description: This search has resulted in 29053 Be star candidates listed in Table 4. 198 of these stars show periodic light variations and are listed in Table 5. Nearly 1500 stars in this final sample are almost certainly Be stars, providing an ideal sample for spectroscopic multi-object follow-up studies. Note on table5.dat: Some of these periodic Be star candidates show several periods in the periodogram. For the moment we give only the fundamental period obtained for each star. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See also: J/MNRAS/348/1439 : OGLE II Galactic center proper motions (Sumi+, 2004) ftp://sirius.astrouw.edu.pl/ogle/ogle2 : OLGE II Home Page Byte-by-byte Description of file: table4.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 6 A6 --- --- (BUL-SC) 7- 8 I2 --- Field Number of the OGLE II field BUL-SC 10- 15 I6 --- OGLE OGLE number of the star in the field 17- 18 I2 h RAh Right ascension (J2000) 20- 21 I2 min RAm Right ascension (J2000) 23- 27 F5.2 s RAs Right ascension (J2000) 29 A1 --- DE- Declination sign (J2000) 30- 31 I2 deg DEd Declination (J2000) 33- 34 I2 arcmin DEm Declination (J2000) 36- 39 F4.1 arcsec DEs Declination (J2000) 41- 46 F6.3 mag Vmag OGLE V magnitude of the star 48- 53 F6.3 mag V-I OGLE V-I colour index of the star 55- 59 F5.3 mag AI OGLE amplitude in the I-band 61 A1 --- Per [*] Indicates period in table5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: table5.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 6 A6 --- --- (BUL-SC) 7- 8 I2 --- Field Number of the OGLE II field BUL-SC 10- 15 I6 --- OGLE OGLE number of the star in the field 17- 23 F7.3 d Per Period of the star 26- 31 F6.3 d e_Per rms uncertainty on Per -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: * 17-Jan-2008: Original files * 22-Jan-2008: Two objects removed from table5 (from author) (BUL-SC19 121185 and BUL-SC42 182261) Acknowledgements: Beatriz Sabogal,
