The planet KOI-428b with a radius of 1.17±0.04RJup and a mass of 2.2±0.4MJup, orbits around a F5IV star with R*=2.13±0.06R, M*=1.48±0.06M_☉ and Teff=6510±100K. The star KOI-428 is the largest and the most evolved star discovered so far with a transiting planet Description: The target KOI-428 was observed by Kepler during the first 33.5-day segment of the science operations (Q1) from May, 13 to June, 15, 2009 with a temporal sampling of 29.4 min.
