We mapped a 4.1pcx4.7pc region in the [CI] 609µm line using the APEX telescope, as well as the CO isotopologues with the IRAM 30m telescope. Data are analyzed based on velocity channel maps that are 1km/s wide. We correlate their spatial distribution with that of the [CII] map obtained with SOFIA/GREAT. Optically thin approximations were used to estimate the column densities of [CI] and [CII] in each velocity channel. Description: The FITS files contain the data cubes corresponding to the most relevant spectral lines used in our work: The 12CO(1-0), 13CO(1-0), C18O(2-1), [CI](1-0), [CI](2-1), [CII] and H41α lines, observed over a region of about 310"x120" towards the M17 SW nebula. They were obtained using the IRAM 30m telescope, the Atacama Pathfinder EXperiment (APEX) telescope, and the German REceiver for Astronomy at Terahertz frequencies (GREAT) on board the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) with varying angular resolutions. They have all been convolved to a common angular resolution of 24", except for the H41α line which was convolved to an angular resolution of 30" to improve the S/N. The velocity resolution of all the data cubes is 1km/s.
