Abstract:
We update the all-sky Planck catalogue of 1227 clusters and cluster
candidates (PSZ1) published in March 2013, derived from detections of
the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect using the first 15.5 months of
Planck satellite observations. As an addendum, we deliver an updated
version of the PSZ1 catalogue, reporting the further confirmation of
86 Planck-discovered clusters. In total, the PSZ1 now contains 947
confirmed clusters, of which 214 were confirmed as newly discovered
clusters through follow-up observations undertaken by the Planck
Collaboration. The updated PSZ1 contains redshifts for 913 systems, of
which 736 (∼80.6%) are spectroscopic, and associated mass estimates
derived from the Yz mass proxy. We also provide a new SZ quality flag
for the remaining 280 candidates. This flag was derived from a novel
artificial neural-network classification of the SZ signal. Based on
this assessment, the purity of the updated PSZ1 catalogue is estimated
to be 94%. In this release, we provide the full updated catalogue and
an additional readme file with further information on the Planck SZ
detections.
Description:
The updated Planck catalogue of SZ sources is available at PLA

and the SZ cluster database (http://szcluster-db.ias.u-psud.fr).
The updated PSZ1 gathers in a single table all the entries
of the delivered catalogue mainly based on the Planck data
and the entries of the external validation information based on
ancillary data (Appendices B and C of Planck Collaboration et al.
(2014A&A...571A..29P 2014A&A...571A..29P, Cat. VIII/91), respectively). It also contains
additional entries.
The updated catalogue contains, when available, cluster external
identifications8 and consolidated redshifts. We added two new entries:
the redshift type and the bibliographic reference.

Note (4): Unabsorbed X-ray flux measured in an aperture of 5arcmin in the band
[0.1-2.4]keV. The aperture is centred on the Planck position, except for
candidates associated with a BSC source for which we adopt the X-ray
position.
For sources with (S/N){RASS}<1σ, we only quote an upper limit.
Note (5): SZ signal, re-extracted fixing the size to the X-ray size provided in
the MCXC catalogue at the X-ray position, for PSZ clusters identified
with MCXC clusters.
Note (6): Signal to noise in the Planck data computed at the X-ray position
fixing the size to the X-ray size provided in the MCXC catalogue,
for PSZ clusters identified with MCXC clusters.
Note (7): Source pipelines are numbered 1=MMF1, 2=MMF3, 3=PwS
Note (8): The three least significant decimal digits are used to represent
detection or non-detection by the pipelines.
Order of the digits: hundreds = MMF1; tens = MMF3; units = PwS.
If it is detected then the corresponding digit is set to 1, otherwise it is
set to 0.
Note (9): The neural-network quality flag QN separates the high quality
SZ detections (QN≥0.4) from low quality sources (QN<0.4).
The Validation values are:
1 = cluster candidate of class 1 (good, have QN≥0.39)
2 = cluster candidate of class 2 (80% of SZ "good" detections QN≥0.4)
3 = cluster candidate of class 3 (30% of SZ "good" detections QN≥0.4)
10 = Planck cluster confirmed by follow-up
20 = known cluster
