Near-infrared and sub-millimeter photometry of carbon stars Groenewegen M.A.T., de Jong T., Baas F. <Astron. Astrophys. Suppl. Ser. 101, 513 (1993)> =1993A&AS..101..513G 1993A&AS..101..513G
ADC_Keywords: Stars, carbon; Photometry, infrared; Radio continuum Keywords: stars: carbon - circumstellar matter - infrared: stars - radio continuum: stars Abstract: We present J H K L M photometry for 25 Carbon stars, and 450, 600, 800 and 1100 µm for 12 carbon stars and the S-star W Aql. Carbon stars reside on a different part of the [12-25], [K-L] diagram than O-rich stars. Our work confirms earlier observations and shows this relation to hold up at least [K-L] ∼ 8mag. LRS = LRS spectrum does not show SiC but is very similar to other extremely red carbon stars like AFGL 190 or AFGL 3068.
