Abstract:
We present J H K L M photometry for 25 Carbon stars, and 450, 600, 800
and 1100 µm for 12 carbon stars and the S-star W Aql. Carbon stars
reside on a different part of the [12-25], [K-L] diagram than O-rich
stars. Our work confirms earlier observations and shows this relation
to hold up at least [K-L] ∼ 8mag.

Global Notes:
Note (G1): References to the carbon star nature. The numbers refer to the
GCCCS (Stephenson 1989, Catalogue III/156). Other references are labelled:

Jo = Jones et al. (1978AJ.....83.1437J 1978AJ.....83.1437J),
3M = star shows the characteristic 3µm feature (Groenewegen et al.
in preparation),
SiC = LRS spectrum shows the silicon carbide feature.
LRS = LRS spectrum does not show SiC but is very similar to other
extremely red carbon stars like AFGL 190 or AFGL 3068.
