Table 1 is a list of 1186 radio sources in the surveyed area l = 357.5 to 60 deg, b = -1 to +1 deg. The primary calibration source was NGC 7027, which was assumed to have a flux density of 5.9 Jy (1 Jy = 10-26W.m-2.Hz-1). The uncertainty in day-to-day thermal calibration was ± 5 to 10%. Integrated flux at 4.875GHz (5) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note (1): Accurate to ±0.005 degree. Note (2): Units are Jy for an equivalent point source. Uncertainty is ∼5% for the values derived from Gaussian fits (see Remarks). Note (3): Geometric mean of half-power widths in longitude and latitude. Uncertainty is ∼10% for values derived from Gaussian fits (see Remarks). The other values were estimated to the nearest 0.5' from contour maps, and should be regarded with caution. Note (4): The symbols have the following meaning: One asterisk: Coordinates, Peak, and Diam are from Gaussian fit. Two asterisks: Coordinates are from contour map; Peak and Diam from Gaussian fit. No asterisk: Coordinates, Peak, and Diam are from contour maps. Note (5): Calculated by S. Trushkin as Flux = Peak * (Diam/2.6')2. Integrated fluxes were not included in the table published by Altenhoff et al., because "Diameters measured from contour maps are notoriously unreliable, and we expect that synthesis observations with beamwidths of a few arc sec would resolve many of the sources into compact components. We therefore did not de-convolve the apparent diameters, or estimate integrated fluxes for the sources." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acknowledgements: An electronic version of the data table, prepared by N. Zabavskaya and S. Trushkin (12/96), was provided to ADC by H. Andernach. * 03-Dec-2002: following a note by Anish Roshi (NRAO), a verification of the position revealed 11 errors in table1 for records number 13, 39, 43, 70, 73, 78, 92, 109, 110, 120, and 130 in table1.dat * 31-Dec-2002: following a note by H. Andernach, 7 other errors in positions corrected for records 24, 32, 35, 82, 101, 289, 813 in table1.dat * 07-Jan-2003: a last error was detected by H. Andernach in 25.610-0.032 in the flux value (0.2 instead of 0.5)
