Abstract:
We present Tully-Fisher observations for 35 rich Abell clusters of
galaxies. Results from I-band photometry and optical rotation curve
work constitute the bulk of this paper. This is the third such data
installment of an all-sky survey of 52 clusters in the distance range
∼50 to 200h-1Mpc. The complete data set provides the basis for
determining an accurate Tully-Fisher template relation and for
estimating the amplitude and direction of the local bulk flow on a
100h-1Mpc scale

Note (1): as extrapolated from the fit to the one-dimensional disk surface
brightness profile.
Note (2): assuming that the surface brightness profile of the disk is well
described by an exponential function.
Note (3): computed assuming that the galaxy is at the distance indicated either
by the cluster redshift, if the galaxy is a cluster member within
1RA of the cluster center, or by the galaxy redshift if not.
