Twenty-one clusters in our sample have spectroscopic redshifts. Fitting a relation between mean g, r, and i magnitudes and redshift for this subsample, we have calculated photometric redshifts for the remainder with an estimated accuracy of approximately 0.03. The resulting redshift range for the sample is 0.03 < z < 0.38. Color-magnitude diagrams are presented for the complete sample and used to study evolution of the galaxy population in the cluster environment. Description: We obtained CCD images of 48 clusters in four runs between 1997 March and 1998 November. All data were taken with the Tek 2K-3 detector at the Cassegrain focus of the 0.9 m telescope at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO). The CCD has 2048x2048 pixels, each pixel covering 0.396'', corresponding to a field of approximately 13.5x13.5 or about 0.5-6.7 Mpc at z=0.03-0.38 (H0 = 67 km.s-1.Mpc-1). We observed 44 Abell clusters and four cluster candidates detected in POSS-II (Second Palomar Sky Survey; Gal et al. 2000AJ....119...12G 2000AJ....119...12G) photographic plates. The images were taken through the g, r and i filters of the Thuan & Gunn (1976PASP...88..543T 1976PASP...88..543T) photometric system, with effective wavelengths and widths of 5118 and 900 Å for g, 6798 and 1000 Å for r, and 8100 and 1500 Å for i. The exposure times varied between 15-60 minutes in the g band, 10-20 minutes in the r band, and 10-15 minutes in the i band.
