ADC_Keywords: Stars, emission ; Stars, pre-main sequence ; Photometry, UBVRI Keywords: catalogs - circumstellar matter - ISM: clouds - stars: pre-main-sequence - techniques: spectroscopic Abstract: We present a new catalog of 108 Herbig Ae/Be candidate stars identified in the Pico dos Dias Survey (Gregorio-Hete et al., 1992AJ....103..549G 1992AJ....103..549G; Torres et al., 1995AJ....109.2146T 1995AJ....109.2146T and 1999, Special Publ. 10, Rio de Janeiro: Obs. Nac.), together with 19 previously known candidates and four objects selected from the IRAS Faint Source Catalog (II/156). These 131 stars were observed with low- and/or medium-resolution spectroscopy, and we complement these data with high-resolution spectra of 39 stars. Description: Johnson UBV(RI)C measurements were gathered for 107 of the 131 stars in 63 nights during a period of 8yr (1990-1998). The observations were collected at OPD (Brazil) with the 60cm Zeiss. (1996A&AS..120..229R 1996A&AS..120..229R), the question mark means that the spectra quality is very poor to be classified and "abs" means that the profile is in absorption. Note (5): [O I]* means that only 6300.31Å is present; the question mark means that the spectra begin at 6500Å and nothing can be said about the presence of the [O I] lines; the minus sign means that [O I] and [S II] forbidden lines are not present. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: table2.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 4 A4 --- PDS The Pico dos Dias Survey identification (G1) 6 A1 --- f_PDS [*] Indicates a double star and integrated magnitudes are used 8- 12 F5.2 mag Vmag The V band magnitude 14- 18 F5.2 mag U-B ?
