This sample of 605 stars (574 M dwarfs and 31 K dwarfs) have been spectroscopically observed, yielding spectral types, radial velocities, Hα equivalent widths, and molecular band indices. Photometric observations have been compiled, with photographic plates providing RI magnitudes and JHKs magnitudes from Two Micron All Sky Survey (Cat. II/246) observations. Proper motions were determined by a match to USNO-B (Cat. I/284), and distances were computed employing a spectroscopic parallax, allowing the computation of UVW space motions. Description: Observations were obtained at Las Campanas Observatory during UT 1990 June 12-14; 1990 October 4, 5, and 8; and 1991 May 29. Observations at Lick Observatory were obtained over nine nights in 1992-1993: 1992 May 11-12, 1992 June 11, 1992 August 21-22, 1992 December 2, 1993 February 12, and 1993 April 28-29 (all dates are UT).The remainder of the data obtained for this program were accumulated during 1993 September 14-20 at the 200inch (5m) Hale Telescope at Palomar Observatory.
