Abstract:
We present a detailed chemical abundance analysis of the parent star
of the transiting extrasolar planet TrES-1. Based on high-resolution
Keck HIRES and Hobby-Eberly Telescope HRS spectra, we have determined
abundances relative to the Sun for 16 elements (Na, Mg, Al, Si, Ca,
Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Y, and Ba).

Note (1): All values of positions, proper motions, and parallax are taken
from Hipparcos (ESA 1997, Cat. I/239) and the SIMBAD database,
except for TrES-1, for which RA, DE, pmRA and pmDE were taken from the
USNO-B1.0 catalog (Monet et al. 2003, Cat. I/284), while the
photometric parallax estimate was taken from Sozzetti et al.
(2004MNRAS.354.1194S 2004MNRAS.354.1194S). The values of heliocentric radial-velocity are
taken from SIMBAD and from the corresponding planet discovery papers.
Note (2): Assuming uniform probability distributions.
Note (3): Assuming Bensby's prior probability distributions.
Note (4): From Bodaghee et al. (2003A&A...404..715B 2003A&A...404..715B) and Beirao et al.
