Abstract:
We study star formation in a sample of 345 galaxies in 167 pairs and
compact groups drawn from the original CfA2 Redshift Survey and from a
follow-up search for companions. We construct our sample with
attention to including pairs with luminosity contrast
|ΔmR|≥2. These 57 galaxies with |ΔmR|≥2 provide a
set of nearby representative cases of minor interactions, a central
feature of the hierarchical galaxy formation model. Here we report the
redshifts and positions of the 345 galaxies in our sample and of 136
galaxies in apparent pairs that are superpositions.

Note (2): Error measurement is based on the derived r value (Tonry & Davis,
1979AJ.....84.1511T 1979AJ.....84.1511T) and the FWHM of the correlation peak used to
obtain cz. See Section 3.2 in Kurtz & Mink (1998PASP..110..934K 1998PASP..110..934K)
for a detailed description of the error measurement.
Note (3): Corrected for Balmer absorption. Error in EW is ±18%, described
in Section 3.2. Only in table1.
Note (4): ΔR<0 for the brighter of the pair and ΔR>0 for
the fainter (only in table1).
Note (5): Galaxy type (only in table1) as follows:
gal = galaxy
int = intermediate
agn = AGN

Global Notes:
Note (G1): the name has the format "HHMMSS+DDMMm" in all the tables,
but also "nogal_NNN" in table1. In the "HHMMSS+DDMMm" format,
the last digit (m) is always 0; the "HHMMSS+DDMM" part represents
the Zwicky identification, generally written "Z HHMM.m+DDMM"
