ADC_Keywords: Clusters, globular ; Photometry, UBVRI Keywords: globular clusters: individual (M55) - stars: abundances - stars: evolution - stars: horizontal-branch Abstract: We have compiled the asymptotic giant, horizontal, and upper red giant branch (AGB, HB, and RGB) stars in the globular cluster M55 (NGC 6809). Using the star counts and the R-parameter we compute the initial helium abundance Y=0.274±0.016. Description: The data were taken from several literature sources: Lee (1977A&AS...29....1L 1977A&AS...29....1L, L77), Mandushev et al. (1997AJ....114.1060M 1997AJ....114.1060M, M97), Olech et al. (1999AJ....118..442O 1999AJ....118..442O, O99), Pych et al. (2001A&A...367..148P 2001A&A...367..148P, P01), and Richter et al. (1999A&A...350..476R 1999A&A...350..476R, R99). The following rows with the same ID is the same star with the photometry detected in the original study. Note (3): The Stromgren photometry from Richter et al.(1999A&A...350..476R 1999A&A...350..476R) was reported in the columns for the B and V band magnitudes. The Stromgren b band is listed under the B band, and the Stromgren y band is listed under the V band column.
