J/AJ/137/3198 New samples of BHB stars in the Milky Way (Kinman+, 2009)

Do the nearby blue horizontal branch stars belong to the thick disk or the halo? Kinman T.D., Morrison H.L., Brown W.R. <Astron. J., 137, 3198-3209 (2009)> =2009AJ....137.3198K 2009AJ....137.3198K

We derive Galactic U, V, and W velocities for these BHB and A-type star samples using proper motions from the NOMAD catalog.
