ADC_Keywords: Clusters, globular ; Stars, variable ; Photometry, UBV Keywords: globular clusters: individual (M62, NGC 6266) - stars: horizontal-branch - stars: variables: general Abstract: We present new time-series CCD photometry, in the B and V bands, for the moderately metal-rich ([Fe/H]≃-1.3) Galactic globular cluster M62 (NGC 6266). The present data set is the largest obtained so far for this cluster and consists of 168 images per filter, obtained with the Warsaw 1.3m telescope at the Las Campanas Observatory and the 1.3m telescope of the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory, in two separate runs over the time span of 3 months. Description: Time-series observations in B and V were obtained with the Warsaw 1.3m telescope at the Las Campanas Observatory (LCO), in the course of seven consecutive nights over the period 2003 April 6-13. The Warsaw data were complemented by observations obtained with the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO) 1.3m telescope, over the timespan 2003 April 24 to 2003 June 30.
