We use SDSS spectra of a subsample of ∼4500 to remove stellar and galaxy contaminants in the sample to a very high level, based on the 7-band photometry. We discuss the distributions of redshift, luminosity, and reddening of the 19100 QSOs (∼96%) that we estimate to be present in the final sample of 19812 point sources.
