Abstract:
We present spectroscopy of 76 emission-line galaxies (ELGs) in Chandra
Deep Field South taken with the LDSS3 spectrograph on the Magellan
Telescope. These galaxies are selected because they have emission
lines with the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) grism data in the
Hubble Space Telescope Probing Evolution and Reionization
Spectroscopically (PEARS) grism Survey. The ACS grism spectra cover
the wavelength range 6000-9700Å and most PEARS grism redshifts are
based on a single emission line + photometric redshifts from broadband
colors; the Magellan spectra cover a wavelength range from 4000Å to
9000Å and provide a check on redshifts derived from PEARS data.

Note (1): Note as follows:
d = AGN candidate identified by the CDF-S X-ray luminosity, hardness
ratio and column density, SFRs, the BPT diagram, and the high-ionization
indicator emission lines
e = AGNs identified by the CDF-S X-ray luminosity, line widths, and
spectral slope
f = The FWHM of object 92839 is measured from MgII since the H recombination
lines are out of the spectral coverage.
Note (2): The optical i-band magnitudes are obtained from HST/ACS GOODS
version 2.0 images (Giavalisco et al., 2004, Cat. II/261).
Note (3): No data indicate measurement was not possible. In case of zgrism,
no data are because no suitable line ID was found for the given input
guess redshift. Fluxes are in 10-18erg/cm2/s=10-21W/m2
