Speckle Interferometry at SOAR in 2022. Mason B.D., Tokovinin A., Mendez R.A., Costa E. <Astron. J., 166, 139 (2023)> =2023AJ....166..139M 2023AJ....166..139M
ADC_Keywords: Stars, double and multiple; Interferometry; Spectra, optical Keywords: Interferometric binary stars Abstract: Results of the speckle-interferometry observations at the 4.1m SOuthern Astrophysical Research Telescope obtained during 2022 are presented: 2508 measurements of 1925 resolved pairs or subsystems and 785 nonresolutions of 611 targets; 26 pairs are resolved here for the first time. This work continues our long-term effort to monitor orbital motion in close binaries and hierarchical systems. A large number of orbits have been updated using these measurements. Description: The observations reported here were obtained with HRCam, a fast imager designed to work at the 4.1m SOAR telescope. We used mostly the near-infrared I-filter (824±170nm) and the Stromgren y-filter (543±22nm); the transmission curves of HRCam filters are given in the instrument manual.
