J/AcA/41/167 UBV photometry in Berkeley 32 (Kaluzny+, 1991)

Photometric study of the old open cluster Be 32. Kaluzny J., Mazur B. <Acta Astron., 41, 167-190 (1991)> =1991AcA....41..167K 1991AcA....41..167K
ADC_Keywords: Clusters, open ; Photometry, UBV ; Abstract: CCD photometry on the UBV and Washington systems, is presented for Be32, a so far unstudied rich open cluster located in the Galactic anticentre. Morphology of cluster and colour-magnitude diagram indicates that it is an old object with age close to ages of NGC 188 and NGC 2243 (about 6Gyr on the scale of VandenBerg isochrones). The cluster reddening is E(B-V)=0.16 and the estimated metallicity is [Fe/H]=-0.37±0.05. The apparent distance modulus is between 12.8 and 13.1. Description: The observations were performed at Kitt Peak National Observatory using the 0.9m telescope equipped with the CCD camera of TEK2 chip (512x512pixels, 0.774arcsec/pix). The UBV photometry was obtained in the night of 1989-12-04, and the Washington photometry on the night of 1989-12-11.
