ADC_Keywords: Clusters, open ; Stars, pre-main sequence ; Photometry, UBVRI ; Photometry, infrared ; Rotational velocities Keywords: open clusters and associations: individual (Orion) - stars: pre-main-sequence - stars: rotation Abstract: Projected rotational velocities (vsini) have been measured for a sample of 145 stars with masses between 0.4 and greater than 10M (median mass 2.1M) located in the Orion star-forming complex. These measurements have been supplemented with data from the literature for Orion stars with masses as low as 0.1M. Description: High-resolution (R∼20000) spectroscopic data were obtained in 1992 November and 1993 January with the Hydra multiobject spectrograph mounted on the KPNO 4m telescope. Near-infrared (JHK) observations were obtained for several hundred stars in the Orion Ic/Id association that met the proper-motion criteria defined above. The observations were made in 1991 November and December with the OTTO photometer mounted on the KPNO 50 inch telescope.
