Abstract:
The survey description and the near-, mid-, and far-infrared flux
properties are presented for the 258 galaxies in the Local Volume
Legacy (LVL). LVL is a Spitzer Space Telescope legacy program that
surveys the local universe out to 11Mpc, built upon a foundation of
ultraviolet, Hα, and Hubble Space Telescope imaging from 11HUGS
(11Mpc Hα and Ultraviolet Galaxy Survey, Cat. J/ApJS/178/247)
and ANGST (ACS Nearby Galaxy Survey Treasury, 2009ApJS..183...67D 2009ApJS..183...67D).
LVL covers an unbiased, representative, and statistically robust
sample of nearby star-forming galaxies, exploiting the highest
extragalactic spatial resolution achievable with Spitzer.
Description:
New Spitzer IRAC observations were obtained for 180 LVL galaxies. New
Spitzer MIPS observations were obtained for 201 LVL galaxies. Archival
IRAC and MIPS data are utilized for 78 (IRAC) and 57 (MIPS) galaxies.

Global notes:
Note (G1): Flag as follows:
a = Infrared photometry for the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are from
Bernard et al. (2008AJ....136..919B 2008AJ....136..919B) and Gordon et al. (2009, in prep),
respectively.
b = NGC 1800 and MCG-05-13-004 spatially overlap so separate photometry for
MCG-05-13-004 is not provided.
c = The bright cores of NGC 3034 (M82) and NGC 0253 produce particularly
challenging Spitzer data, including the effects of saturation at
24 micron. The 24 micron flux densities are approximated from IRAS
data via νfν(24um)=νfν(25um), and the data at other
wavelengths should be used with caution.
d = Only 4.5 and 8.0 micron data were obtained for IC 5152.
e = IRAC imaging taken from the Spitzer archives.
f = MIPS imaging taken from the Spitzer archives.
