This distance determination, based on measurements of 35 long-period (P>25d) Cepheids, will support the absolute calibration of the supermassive black hole mass in this system, as well as studies of the dynamics of the feedback or feeding of its active galactic nucleus. Description: We acquired multiband time-series images of NGC 4151 using the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) on board HST. In order to search for Cepheids and measure their periods, we made use of the long-pass optical filter F350LP to phase the light curves with 12 epochs (spanning 2015 December 7 to 2016 February 18) across a baseline of 74 days. We also observed NGC 4151 in F555W (3 epochs), F814W (3 epochs), and F160W (6 epochs). The per-epoch exposure times were 1050s, 1100s, 1100s, and 1106s for F350LP, F555W, F814W, and F160W, respectively. See Section 2.1.
