J/ApJS/124/527 Oscillator strengths for lines in J & H bands (Melendez+, 1999)

Oscillator Strengths and Damping Constants for Atomic Lines in the J and H Bands Melendez J., Barbuy B. <Astrophys. J. Suppl. Ser. 124, 527 (1999)> =1999ApJS..124..527M 1999ApJS..124..527M

Oscillator strengths and damping constants were computed or obtained by fitting the solar spectrum. The line list presented in this paper is, to our knowledge, the most complete one now available and supersedes previous lists. Note (2): The value is expressed in units of the Bohr radius squared (the Bohr radius is the constant a0 = ε0 h2/(π m e2) from Permittivity, Planck, electron mass and charge constants ) Note (3): E = Extrapolations in the calculation M = Value computed using an enhancement factor larger than the classical van der Waals value A = Value obtained from a fit to the solar spectrum -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: From ApJ electronic edition References: Kurucz, R. 1995, CD-ROM 23, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics Wallace, L., Hinkle, K., & Livingston, W. 1993, An Atlas of the Photospheric Spectrum from 8900 to 13600 cm-1 (7350 to 11230 Å), National Solar Obs., Tech.
