Abstract:
We present a compilation of properties of the 105783 quasars in the
Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 7 (DR7) quasar catalog (Cat.
VII/260). In this product, we compile continuum and emission line
measurements around the Hα, Hβ, MgII, and CIV regions, as
well as other quantities such as radio properties, and flags
indicating broad absorption line quasars, disk emitters, etc. We also
compile virial black hole mass estimates based on various
calibrations. For the fiducial virial mass estimates we use the
Vestergaard & Peterson (VP06; 2006ApJ...641..689V 2006ApJ...641..689V) calibrations for
Hβ and CIV, and our own calibration for MgII which matches the
VP06 Hβ masses on average. We describe the construction of this
catalog and discuss its limitations.

Note (2): Bolometric luminosity (in units of erg/s); using bolometric
corrections derived from the composite SED from Richards et al. (2006,
Cat. J/ApJS/166/470)
Note (3): Broad Absorption Line QSO flag (from Gibson et al. 2009,
Cat. J/ApJ/692/758) as follows:
0 = nonBALQSO or no wavelength coverage;
1 = CIV BALQSO;
2 = MgII BALQSO;
3 = both CIV and MgII BALQSO
Note (4): FIRST (Cat. VIII/71) radio flag as follows:
-1 = not in FIRST footprint;
0 = FIRST undetected;
1 = core-dominant;
2 = lobe-dominant (radio morphology classification following Jiang et al.
2007ApJ...656..680J 2007ApJ...656..680J)
Note (5): Special interest flag (in hex and decimal):
DISK_EMITTER = 0x1 = bit # 0 = 1
DISKEMITTERCANDIDATE = 0x2 = bit # 1 = 2
DOUBLEPEAKEDOIII = 0x4 = bit # 2 = 4
Note (6): WISE 3.4, 4.6, 12, 22um profile-fitting magnitudes; Vega;
Preliminary Data Release (2011-04-14, coverage map); 6" matching radius.
Note (7): WISE magnitude errors 0 indicates 95% confidence upper limit.
