ADC_Keywords: Clusters, open ; Populations, stellar ; Photometry Keywords: surveys - stars: low-mass, brown dwarfs - open clusters and associations: individual: Pleiades Abstract: We present the results of a six-square-degree Pleiades survey in I and Z, which is photometrically complete to approximately IKP=19.2mag (IC=19.6 in the Pleiades). We remove non-cluster contamination on the basis of proper motions and infrared photometry, and present 339 candidate cluster members, 30 of which are fainter than IKP=17.5, and are thus strong brown-dwarf candidates. The following spectroscopic features are considered; spectral type, radial velocity, surface gravity indicators and lithium absorption. Candidates are flagged with s, v, g and l respectively, if these features have been found to be consistent with cluster membership. It is noted that none of the candidates have been spectroscopically eliminated as cluster candidate members. The superscripted numbers after these spectroscopic flags indicate which source the information comes from, as follows; 2 = Rebolo et al. (1996ApJ...469L..53R 1996ApJ...469L..53R), 3 = Martin et al.
