Description: Our new sample of high-redshift Lyman-limit systems (Peroux et al., 2001AJ....121.1799P 2001AJ....121.1799P) is combined with data collected from previous surveys (Storrie-Lombardi et al., 1994ApJ...427L..13S 1994ApJ...427L..13S) in order to determine the number of Lyman-limit system LLS per unit redshift.
