Excluding the central disc region, we detect 142 objects with colours and sizes typical of globular clusters (GCs). Our main result is the discovery of a "blue tilt" (a mass-metallicity relation), at the 3σ level, in the metal-poor GC subpopulation of this Milky Way like galaxy. Description: The data for this work were taken using the ACS/WFC camera on board the HST as part of proposal ID 9766 (PI Forbes). Two pointings along the major axis of NGC 5170 were obtained in the F435W (B) and F814W (I) filters with a total exposure time of 3720 and 940s at each pointing.
