Abstract:
We present a study of the optical spectral properties of 115
ultraluminous infrared galaxies (ULIRGs) in the southern sky. Using
the optical spectra obtained at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American
Observatory (CTIO) 4m telescope and provided by the Two-degree Field
(2dF) Galaxy Redshift Survey and the Six-degree Field (6dF) Galaxy
Survey, we measure emission linewidths and fluxes for spectral
classification.
Description:
The optical spectra of the 2dFGRS galaxies were taken with the 2dF
multi-object spectrograph on the Anglo-Australian Telescope.

Global notes:
Note (G1): Linewidths below 100km/s are not shown.
Note (G2): The ratios are corrected for Galactic extinction and stellar
absorption. The internal extinction correction is applied,
if available.
Note (G3): Line flux qualities are expressed as one digit (0 to 4) for
each line: Hβ, [OIII]λ5007, [OI]λ6300, Hα,
[NII]λ6584, [SII]λ6717 and [SII]λ6731.
Each digit represents a quality as:
0 = unmeasurable
1 = low
2 = moderate
3 = High
