We study the spatial distribution of the GCs in order to probe the anisotropy in the azimuthal distribution of the discrete X-ray sources in the galaxy revealed by Chandra images. Description: HST WFPC2 data for NGC 4261 were obtained with the F450W, F606W and F814W filters (roughly corresponding to the B, V and I bands, respectively; see WFPC2 Instrument Handbook, version 10.0, table 3.1).
