Abstract:
From a 12CO (J=1-0) survey with the NANTEN telescope, we present a
complete catalog of giant molecular clouds (GMCs) in the Large
Magellanic Cloud. In total, 107 CO clouds have been identified, 55 of
which were detected at more than 3 observed positions. For the 55
clouds, the physical properties, such as size, line-width, virial
mass, and CO luminosity, are cataloged.

Note (1): The CO clouds are named according to the positions of the
intensity peaks in equatorial coordinates.
Note (2): Positions of the observed points with the maximum 12CO
integrated intensities within the CO clouds are given in equatorial coordinates.

Note (1): Line-widths, derived by using a single Gaussian fitting for a
spectrum obtained by averaging all the spectra within a single cloud
Note (2): Effective radii, defined as R=(A/π)0.5, where A is the
total cloud surface area.
Note (3): CO luminosity of the cloud. This is determined from the average
integrated intensity of the cloud multiplied by the cloud area.
Note (4): Virial masses of the CO clouds, a density profile of
ρ∝r^-1 was assumed; the virial mass is written as
Mvir/M☉=190[ΔVcomp_(km/s]2R(pc) (MacLaren et al.,
1988ApJ...333..821M 1988ApJ...333..821M).
