Description: The CCD UBVIc observations of the NGC 281 region were obtained by using the 105-cm Schmidt telescope of the Kiso Observatory, Japan on 2004 November 21 and 2005 November 27. We observed the NGC 281 region in the slitless mode with a grism as the dispersing element using the Himalayan Faint Object Spectrograph Camera (HFOSC) instrument during two observing runs on 2005 October 10 and 2006 August 16. Chandra observed the NGC 281 region on three occasions for 62.6ks (Obs ID 5424, on 2005-11-10 @ 18:19:27 UT), 23.5ks (Obs ID 7206, 2005-11-08 @ 13:41:46 UT) and 13.1ks (Obs ID 7205 @ 22:40:54 UT). We analyzed the data reprocessed by the Chandra X-Ray Center on 2006 April 5 (ASCDSVER 7.6.7.1).
