ADC_Keywords: Active gal. nuclei ; Photometry, UBVRI ; Photometry, CCD Keywords: Extragalactic astronomy - AGN: comparison stars: optical photometry Abstract: Results are presented from CCD BVRI-observations of 145 comparison stars in the neighborhoods of 14 Seyfert galaxies, 3 quasars, and 5 BL Lac objects with right ascensions of 12 to 24 hours. The magnitudes of the observed stars ranged from V=11 to V=17. The typical photometric error for stars brighter V=14 is 0.01m. The B, V, Rc, and Ic magnitudes of most of these stars were not known previously. 14'x14' finding charts are provided. These results can be used for differential photometry of the nuclei of active galaxies in the B, V, Rc, and Ic bands. Description: All the observations were made on the 70cm telescope at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory using an AP7p CCD camera. The camera is equipped with a set of B, V, R, R1, and I filters, where the filter we have denoted by R1 corresponds better to the I filter in the Cousins system, while the other filters correspond better to the filters in the standard Johnson system. Initial B, V, Rc, and Ic magnitudes were taken from Gonzalez-Perez et al., 2001, Cat. J/AJ/122/2055. Note (2): Since our filter R1 is close to the I filter in the Cousins system, we obtained two different versions of the Ic magnitudes: one system was determined from observations in the R1 filter and the corresponding column in Table 2 is labelled Ic1, and the other Ic system was obtained from observations with the I filter and the corresponding column in Table 2 is labelled Ic2. It is easy to confirm that columns Ic1 and Ic2 give almost identical values, which confirms the validity of our transformation equations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: table3.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 12 A12 --- Field Field designation 14- 15 A2 --- Star Star designation in the field (G1) 17- 18 A2 --- OName1 Other name 21- 25 A5 --- r_OName1 Reference for OName1, separated by comma 27- 28 A2 --- OName2 Other name 31- 35 A5 --- r_OName2 Reference for OName2, separated by comma 37- 38 A2 --- OName3 Other name 40- 41 A2 --- r_OName3 Reference for OName3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: refs.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 2 A2 --- Ref Reference code 4- 22 A19 --- BibCode BibCode 24- 44 A21 --- Aut Author's name 46- 66 A21 --- Com Comments -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Global notes: Note (G1): Nomenclatude note: Simbad designation: [DSM2005] Field Star -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: From electronic version of the journal
