The Unity units library

This is the unity library, which is able to parse scientific unit specifications using a variety of syntaxes.

This is version unity-1.0, 2014 May 13

The library is released under the terms of the 2-clause BSD licence.

The four syntaxes are:

• the FITS specification, section 4.3 (doi:10.1051/0004-6361/201015362);
• OGIP memo OGIP/93-001 (postscript); and
• CDS's Standards for Astronomical Catalogues, Version 2.0.
• The VOUnits syntax. This is a subset of the FITS syntax, specified by the VOUnits specification.
