Search with several keywords and several years

The interactive mode is a little limited, one may whish to give more precise context to the bibliography search. Therefore other possibilities have been developed to use more keywords, which is described in the previous item or search several years at a time which is discussed here.

By using the options -i, -gt, -lt with the command bib one can search the bibliography for given interval of years.

When -gt is used, the programme looks for the bibliography for all years later than the given limit, i.e. between the given year and the current one.

When -lt is used, one looks for the bibliography starting from the beginning (1969) up to the limiting year.

When -i is used, one needs to specify the lower and upper limits of the domain searched for.

In all three cases, one may enter up to three different keywords. The order of the keywords is not significant. The correct syntax is shown by the examples.

Examples:

bib -i 85 88 Hyades lithium: lists the papers published between 1985 and 1988 dealing with the problem of Lithium in the Hyades,
bib -gt 88 Hyades lithium: lists the papers published in 1988 and later,
bib -lt 75 Hyades Pleiades: lists the papers published between 1969 and 1975 talking both of the Hyades and Pleiades
