Isaac Newton Telescope Wide Field Survey Cambridge Astronomical Survey Unit <Cambridge Astronomical Survey Unit (Cambridge UK)>
ADC_Keywords: Surveys Keywords: Observatory log Description: The INT Wide Field Survey (WFS) is using the Wide Field Camera (∼0.3 square degrees) on the 2.5m Isaac Newton Telescope (INT). The project was initiated in August 1998 and is expected to have a duration of up to five years. Multicolour data will be obtained over 200+ square degrees to a typical depth of ∼25 mag (u' through z'). The data is publically accessible via the Cambridge Astronomical Survey Unit to UK and NL communities from day one, with access to the rest of the world after one year. This observation log lists all observations older than the one year proprietary period. However, non-understandable values in the 'Epoch' column were assumed to be J2000. Note (2): Filter name and system are described at http://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/~wfcsur/filters.html The values of lambda and width were derived from the ING filter database at http://www.ing.iac.es/~quality/filter/filt4.html; -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acknowledgements: We kindly thank Jim Lewis for help in the preparation of this document.
