II/27 Photoelectric measurements in UcBV system (Nicolet 1975)

Catalogue of Photoelectric Photometric Measurements in the UcBV System Nicolet B. <Astron. Astrophys. Suppl. Ser. 22, 239 (1975)> =1975A&AS...22..239N 1975A&AS...22..239N
ADC_Keywords: Photometry, UcBV ; Colors Description: All measurements in the literature on the Cape photometric system as of early 1975 have been compiled. The catalog includes measurements from 38 publications as well as 469 unpublished measurements forwarded by Dr. A. W. J. Cousins. Introduction: The method and computer program described by Hauck (1973) and used by Lindemann and Hauck (1973) was used for the ubvyβ system. The data of Cousins and Stoy (1963) were used as the standard but no systematic differences were found. As the standard error was sufficiently small, each publication was given the same weight. However, Johnson et al (1966) have signaled a slight divergence between their measurements in V and B-V and those given in the Cape system. Account was taken of this in the calculation. The probable error in each magnitude and color is less than 0.01mag. History: * 08-Aug-1975: the catalogue was prepared on magnetic tape at the Institut d'Astronomie de Lausanne and mailed to CDS, Strasbourg * 21-Feb-1996: standardized documentation by Julie Anne Watko [SSDOO/ADC] * 08-Aug-2016 (Francois Ochsenbein, CDS): standardisation of file names, and separated number of observations from the remarks in the file "measures.dat". The designations were checked, and correct star identifications are reported in the file "means.id1" (some errors, especially CD numbers, are annotated therein).
