ADC_Keywords: Radial velocities Description: This compilation of stellar radial velocities is a continuation of Abt & Biggs (III/4). It includes 11000 references for galactic, large and small Magellanic stars published between 1970 and 1980. A description (in French) is available is the file "intro.txt". Year of publication 120 A1 --- --- [|] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note (1): other name of the star. For the stars not referenced in a catalog, or without a designation, we assign a running number in the publication, preceded by the authors' initials or the original observatory initials. We tried as much as possible to follow the recommendations found in the "First Dictionary of the nomenclature of celestial objects" (Fernandez et al. 1983A&AS...52....1F 1983A&AS...52....1F) Note (2): star position. The coordinates are those given by the author; when missing, the position was taken from SIMBAD. For stars without position and not found in Simbad, we computed approximate coordinates from what could be found, e.g. a chart or details given by the author. For stars in clusters, we give the position of the cluster center. Note (3): Remarks as in Abt and Biggs (III/4): ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abbrev.
