Description:
In order to investigate the location of supernovae (SNe) in paired and
interacting galaxies, the 54 supernovae discovered up to May 1993 in
14 Isolated Pairs of Galaxies and in 32 Interacting Systems were taken
as a sample and studied.

1- 18 A18 --- Gal Galaxy name
20- 25 A6 --- MType Galaxy type
27- 31 F5.2 --- log(Lp/Ln) []? Logarithmic ratio of the blue
luminosity of the SN parent galaxy to that
of its close neighbour, corrected for
galactic absorption
33- 37 F5.2 --- alpha []? Far Infrared spectral index (1)
39- 43 F5.2 --- log(LFIR/Lb) []? Far infrared to B luminosity ratio
45- 49 I5 km/s D(V) []? Difference of the velocities of the
parent and the neighbour galaxy, retrieved
from the most recent literature
51- 56 A6 --- SN Supernova name
58- 60 A3 --- SNType Supernova type
62- 65 F4.2 --- theta []? Distance of the SN from the center of
the galaxy in units of the galactic radius
at 25 mag/arcsec2
67- 70 F4.2 --- theta0 []? Corrected value of theta for the
tilting of the parent galaxies along the
line of sight
72- 76 F5.3 --- r/R1,2 []? Ratio of the projected distance of the
SN from the parent galaxy nuclei to
the projected separation between components
of the paired/interacting galaxies
78- 80 I3 deg PA []? Position angle of the SNE with respect
to the neighbours (2)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note (1): Computed via relation: α10060=log(Sν(100)/Sν(60))
/log(60/100), where Sν(100) and Sν(60) are the FIR
flux densities at the wavelengths 60um and 100um, respectively.
Note (2): The PA is computed clockwise with the companion placed at 180deg.
