Abstract:
The paper presents a geometrical method to derive the projected area
of patches on a star, bounded by viewing angle and theta on the star.
This can be used to combine multiple simulated 1D spectra into 1.5D
model. Here we provide an IDL code to calculate the size of the
patches.
