ADC_Keywords: Comets ; Spectroscopy Keywords: meteorites, meteors, meteoroids - catalogs Abstract: We present library of meteor spectra in the range 3700-8800Å including sporadic meteors, minor showers and major showers in the magnitude range from +2 to -3, corresponding to meteoroid sizes from 1mm to 10mm. Parallel double-station video observations allowed us to compute heliocentric orbits for all meteors. Most observations were performed during the periods of activity of major meteor showers in the years between 2006 and 2012. Spectra are classified according to relative intensities of the low-temperature emission lines of Mg, Na, and Fe. Description: The measurements of all frames of the spectra were combined and intensities summed along the whole meteor paths are given as a function of wavelength. Total intensities of multiplets Mg1-2, Na1-1, and Fe1-15 are given explicitly in a separate file. The number is given in the form YYMDDXXX, where: YY = last two digits of the year. M = month of the year: 1 to 9 is January to September, A is October, B is November and C is December. DD = day when the observation started (the evening date). XXX = the number of the meteor; the counting starts at the beginning of the night. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: table5.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 7 A7 --- SpFile Name of spectrum file (G1) 9- 14 F6.3 1/AU 1/a [-0.02/0.8] Reciprocal semi-major axis 16- 20 F5.3 1/AU e_1/a [0.002/0.11] Reciprocal semi-major axis error, δ(1/a) 22- 26 F5.3 --- e [0.38/1.01] Eccentricity 28- 32 F5.3 --- e_e [0.001/0.1] Eccentricity error 34- 39 F6.2 deg i [0/180] Inclination 41- 44 F4.2 deg e_i [0.01/1] Inclination error 46- 50 F5.3 AU q [0.04/1.02] Perihelion distance 52- 56 F5.3 AU e_q [0.001/0.01] Perihelion distance error 58- 64 F7.2 AU Q [-200/430] Aphelion distance 66- 71 F6.2 AU e_Q [0.02/770] Aphelion distance error 73- 78 F6.2 deg omega [0/360] Argument of periapsis ω 80- 83 F4.2 deg e_omega [0.03/3] Argument of periapsis error 85- 90 F6.2 deg Omega [0/360] Longitude of the ascending node Ω 92- 96 F5.2 --- Tj [-1/4.51] Tisserand parameter 98-101 F4.2 --- e_Tj [0.01/2] Tisserand parameter error 103-107 F5.2 km/s vg [6/72] Geocentric velocity 109-112 F4.2 km/s e_vg [0.03/1] Geocentric velocity error 114-124 A11 --- Shower The shower membership -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: table6.dat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 7 A7 --- SpFile Name of spectrum file (G1) 9- 16 E8.3 J/sr Mg1-2 Summed intensity of line Mg1-2 18- 25 E8.3 J/sr Na1-1 Summed intensity of line Na1-1 27- 34 E8.3 J/sr Fe1-15 Summed intensity of line Fe1-15 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Byte-by-byte Description of file: sp/* -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Label Explanations -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 4 I4 0.1nm lambda [3712/8798] Wavelength 8- 12 I5 --- Flux.u Observed uncalibrated intensity in arbitrary units 16- 20 I5 --- Flux Observed calibrated intensity in arbitrary units 25- 28 I4 --- e_Flux Absolute uncertainty of calibrated intensity in arbitrary units -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Global notes: Note (G1): Name of spectrum file, SNNNNN, in ascii in subdirectory sp with .dat extension, in fits in subdirectory fits with .fits extension. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acknowledgements: Vlastimil Vojacek, vojacek(at)asu.cas.cz
